Break your journey with a stop at a Children’s Farm Near the M25

With summer around the corner, families will be travelling far and wide across the UK to enjoy holiday staycations or to catch up with loved ones. Rather than stopping at a service station, why not replace the concrete for the beautiful countryside and visit a children’s farm. With acres to explore, your kids can really let off some energy before returning to the car for the next stage in your journey.

To help, we have pulled together children’s farms to visit around the M25, close to all the major motorways and towns including St Albans, High Wycombe, Brentwood and more. From meeting and feeding adorable furry friends to racing on Go Karts and exploring huge indoor play areas, get ready for hours of fun to  break up your journey.

Willows Activity Farm
Coursers Rd, St Albans AL4 0PF

Located to North London, just off Junction 22 on the M25 Willows Activity Farm is the perfect family day out this summer. As well as meeting all your favourite farmyard animals, get ready for exciting funfair rides, bounce high up on inflatable Pillows, and of course don’t forget to meet Peter Rabbit and his friends at a range of fantastic daily shows. Plus, get ready to discover hours of imaginative play including the Peter Rabbit Adventure Playground. But the fun doesn’t stop there, get ready for Puddle Park, a brand-new attraction opening this summer!

Hobbledown – Adventure Farm
Horton Ln, Epsom KT19 8PT

Hobbledown is just five miles from the M25, off Junction 9 and is known for having the best outdoor play venue in the ‘Southeast.’ Are you ready for an adventure? Explore underground tunnels, reach for the sky on Jumping Pillows, discover the Archery Arena and brave a daring High Ropes Course. Plus, there are so many adorable animals to meet at the Zoo from cute camels to lively lemurs and not to mention the 18 magnificent birds of prey.  The fantastic Camp Beaumont will also be returning from the 26th July, running week-long activity programmes all summer, don’t miss out!

Godstone Farm
Farm Limited, Tilburstow Hill Rd, Godstone RH9 8LX

 Godstone Farm can be found a short distance away from Junction 6 on the M25, making it easy to reach from Surrey, Sussex, Kent and London. If you’re an animal lover, this is the perfect place to visit, with over 500 furry friends to meet, from rabbits and chinchillas to alpacas and cows. Plus, discover acres of outdoor play including sandpits, climbing walls, slides and even a zip line for little thrill seekers. Plus, make sure to follow the NEW World of Dinosaur Roar! Discovery Trail, to find life sized dinosaur models in a natural woodland setting, you’ll even be able to meet Dinosaur ROAR the Tyrannosaurus rex and his roarr-some friends!

Odds Farm Park
Wooburn Common, Wooburn Green, High Wycombe HP10 0LX

If you’re looking for one of the best family days out at a Children’s Farm, then look no Further. Odds Farm Park is stacked full of fun activities and is just 6 miles from the M25. Odds is officially recognised as an ‘approved farm park’ by the Rare Breed Survival Trust, so you can meet adorable, rare breeds of pigs, sheep, rabbits, and ponies. Plus, get ready to explore acres of outdoor play including H2Odds, a bespoke and unique water play area, it’s the best way to cool down this summer! Don’t worry, if it rains you can explore the massive indoor adventure play area including the 4-lane Astra Slide, 2 large drop slides, a netted area with zigzag chicanes & tunnels, swinging ropes and so much more!

Old MacDonald’s Farm and Fun Park

If you’re looking for an adventure this summer packed full of rides and family activities, then make sure you visit Old MacDonalds Farm in Brentwood, just off Junction 28 on the M25.What will you do first? Get up close and personal to adorable furry friends including cows, donkeys, alpacas and meerkats or explore all the rides including the Thrilling Crazy Barn ride, Doggy Dog Rollercoaster and gigantic Snake Slide. We hope your little ones have lots of energy, as a visit to Old MacDonald’s Farm wouldn’t be complete without exploring the indoor Battle Barn with lots of exciting activities including Soft Play Cannons. It’s the perfect children’s farm to visit near the M25 this summer!

Chobham Adventure Farm
Bagshot Road, Chobham, Surrey GU24 8BD

There’s plenty to see and do for children and adults at Chobham Adventure Farm in Surrey, not far from the M25.
Let the little ones stretch their legs and head straight for the Indoor Play area. With two play frames including one for under 3’s and a challenging frame for children (and grown ups!) you’ll spend hours exploring the sheep dog rollers, swing ropes and net bridges before braving the vertical death drop slide.
For those looking for fresh air in the great outdoors, Chobham has you covered too. Adventure into the massive outdoor sandpit with slides and whizz along the zipwires at this family farm before saying hello to Donkeys and Sheep in the animal petting areas.
After all that play, refuel with plenty of tasty treats prepared by chefs Didier, Mario and Bee in the Chobham Adventure Farm Cafe…a fabulous farm day out!
