Animal Days Out Near Manchester

A children’s farm is the ultimate animal day out, which also provides an escape to the beautiful countryside on the outskirts of Manchester.

From saying hello to cows, sheep and donkeys in the outdoor animal trails to getting up close to fluffy rabbits and curly tailed piglets in the undercover barns, there’s lots of farmyard animals to discover.

Many farm days out also run scheduled animal activities throughout the day, which allow you to meet the farmers and get extra hands-on.   Farm Attractions also feature onsite cafes, tractor and trailer rides (always a winner) and indoor playbarns (great for iffy weather days).
